About Kelly




PERSONALITY: Kelly is an outgoing and caring individual. She was born to be a mother and takes her role very seriously. Kelly’s kids are the priority in her life and she showers them with affection and love. Kelly has the ability to make people feel special and build children’s’ self-esteem. She is especially gifted with in caring for children with special needs.

WORK: Kelly is a full time stay-at-home mom. No daycare! This gives her the time and energy to make sure her children truly have a full-filling life. She is active in her children’s education and extra curricular activities. She also teaches parenting classes to other adoptive parents twice a month.

HOBBIES: Kelly volunteers helping children with special needs. She believes special needs children have unique gifts and enjoys their beautiful spirits. Kelly spends all of her remaining time enjoying her family. Kelly and the kids love swimming, walks to the park, roasting marshmallows, celebrating every holiday to the fullest and being silly together. Kelly also really enjoys braiding her girls’ hair and knows how to do many attractive African American hairstyles.

EDUCATION: Kelly graduated from both High School and College with the Highest Honors. She received her Bachelors Degree in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound. This experience in the medical field has proven very useful in parenting our children as many of them have needed a surgery, or other medical procedures. Her knowledge gives her an advantage when it comes to interacting with doctors and making tough medical decisions. She is also not squeamish around blood or other bodily fluids, which helps a lot in raising kids!

RELIGION: Kelly is a strong Christian who attends church every week with her family. Kelly is a deeply spiritual person who believes in the power of prayer. We attend a congregation that is at least 50% African American. Kelly is in charge of the children’s program at our congregation.
